Kickoff

is set for 10 p.m. CT when the Minnesota Golden Gophers (1-1) head west to open Big Ten conference play on the road against the Washington Huskies (2-0) on Saturday, Sep. 26.

The game will be televised on FOX.

This will be the first game between Minnesota and Washington since the latter joined the Big Ten, but the 18th all-time matchup between the two programs. It has been nearly 50 years since the Cal Stoll-coached Gophers defeated the Huskies, 19-17, in Minneapolis in 1977.
