“Keeping Gabby with the club for the next four seasons is important for our back line,” said General Manager Nathan Minion. “She is one
of the most versatile defenders and underrated players in our league and we’re thrilled to maintain our strong defending third for the foreseeable future.”
In three seasons with the Spirit, she has appeared in 83 matches with the club, becoming a standout and reliable contributor to the backline.
Internationally, the star defender has earned 60 appearances with the Canada Women’s National Team (31 starts) and has competed at two FIFA Women’s World Cups (2019, 2013) and two Olympic Games (2021, 2024)- where she won Gold in Tokyo Games in 2021.
