And we’re not the only ones impressed as the 23-year-old forward has been nominated for the Premier League’s Player of the Month for the month of August. With two goals and two assists
to his name, JP has a realistic shot at winning the award, even, though he faces strong competition from the likes of Erling Haaland, Antoine Semenyo, Jack Grealish, Marc Guéhi, Riccardo Calafiori, and Liverpool duo Hugo Ekitike and Domink Szoboszlai.

Given Chelsea’s good start to the campaign as we sit second after the first three games, manager Enzo Maresca has also earned an award nomination, for Manager of the Month.
He’s unlikely to beat out either Arne Slot, whose Liverpool seem to be picking up right where they left off last season with three wins from three, or Régis Le Bris, who has two wins from Sunderland’s first three games back in the Premier League, but you can vote for him here. David Moyes is also nominated.
