What is the story about?
The Washington Commanders shocked the Seattle Seahawks at Northwest Stadium and came away with the 33-31 win in their home opener. The team lost back-to-back division games to start the season, and also lost starting QB Jayden Daniels for a few weeks due to a dislocated elbow. Marcus Mariota led the team to victory today, and said it was an unbelievable win that the team needed. He said the team came together through adversity and they didn’t blink when last season’s Super Bowl champions came to town.
