The Pittsburgh Steelers are signing safety Makari Paige, the team announced on Wednesday.
Paige signed with the Giants as an undrafted free agent in April, 2025. He was waived at the end of the preseason. Paige spent five seasons at the University of Michigan, helping the Wolverines win a National Championship in 2023. Over the course of his collegiate career, he totaled 135 tackles, three interceptions, and eight pass deflections.
Paige now joins a safety group that consists of DeShon Elliott, Jaquan
Brisker, Robert Spears-Jennings, Sebastian Castro, Jack Henderson, and potentially Jalen Ramsey, depending on where Patrick Graham decides to play him.
