We’re kicking off our list with the locations of our writers here at Windy City Gridiron, and I’ll get this started.
I live just north of the border in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Yeah, I know.
We’ve been here about a decade, but before that, I lived in northeast Illinois; I went to Round Lake High School, and also lived in the Lake Villa/Lindenhurst area.
Kenosha is just across the border, so I run into Chicago Bears fans all the time. Plus, the real job has me commuting to downtown Chicago, so I’m not always above the cheddar curtain.

- Mongo Peanut – Born in Aurora, Illinois, now living in Chicago.
- Gary Baugher Jr. – Born in Pine Bluff, AR., now in Chicago.
- Sam Householder – Grew up in Grayslake, Illinois, now resides in Mishawaka, IN (not really, but close enough)
- Bryan Orenchuk – Born in Toms River, NJ, Asheville, NC is now home

- Josh Sunderbruch – Born in Yankton, SD, and currently in St Charles, IL
