The United States Men’s U-20 National Team have reached the quarterfinals of the 2025 FIFA U-20 World Cup, and they take the field again this afternoon to face Morocco with a berth in the semifinals hanging
in the balance. The United States U-20s are coming off a 3-0 win over Italy in the Round of 16 behind a Benja Cremaschi brace.
This is the fifth straight U-20 World Cup that the United States have advanced to the quarterfinal round. On the four previous occasions, their dream of lifting the U-20 World Cup crown ended at that round, the semifinal door being too strong to knock down. The United States hope they can do it this time against a Morocco team that won Group C – over Mexico, Spain, and Brazil – and beat South Korea in the Round of 16.
The United States has yet another excellent chance to punch their ticket to the semifinals with a chance at getting a podium finish. They have to continue to play well, and they look to do so this afternoon.
