The defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks don’t have a ton of roster holes that need to be addressed, with only a handful of starters from the 2025 team not under contract or under team control for 2026.
However, one position of concern has been EDGE, with 2022 second round pick Boye Mafe set to depart for the Cincinnati Bengals, and the many of the other players either on the wrong side of 30, under contract only for the 2026 season, or both.
As such, there had been considerable fan interest
in Trey Hendrickson of the Bengals from many Seattle fans, including during his holdout last offseason, at the trade deadline and ahead of the start of free agency this spring. And, while his market in free agency may have been slower to develop than many anticipated, according to multiple reports from NFL insiders Wednesday morning, Hendrickson has found a new home.
The Baltimore Ravens, of course, now have plenty of cap space to work with after restructuring Lamar Jackson’s contract Tuesday, and also suddenly in need of an edge rusher after opting to not go through with their trade for Maxx Crosby of the Las Vegas Raiders.
So, while one of the top edge rushers available this offseason Crosby, is now back on the market, another one is off the market.
