We finally have some confirmation on the game status for Lamar Jackson before the Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills square off inside the new Highmark Stadium in Week 8.
In terms of the Bills, still plenty of uncertainty for some important pieces, especially on the offensive side of the ball.
Let’s get to Friday’s injury report for both teams.
What Changed:
Encouragingly, Buffalo right tackle Spencer Brown hadn’t practiced all week with a back ailment but got in a limited session on Friday. Also on the positive
front, veteran edge rusher Bradley Chubb was a full participant after only getting in limited work on Wednesday and Thursday. Joe Andreessen was full on Friday too.
Rookie T.J. Parker was upgraded from limited to full on Friday with a knee. Ray Davis missed practice with an illness on Thursday and returned Friday. Greg Gaines must’ve tweaked something during Friday’s practice to only get in a limited session after carrying no designation throughout the week.
Here’s a full look at the final Week 8 injury report for the Bills, which includes official game designations:
Not Practicing:
- CB Dee Alford
Limited Practice:
- RT Spencer Brown
- TE Dalton Kincaid
- WR DJ Moore
- WR Tyrell Shavers (PUP)
Full Practice:
- DL Ed Oliver
- G Ar’Maj Reed-Adams
- DL T.J. Sanders
- RB Ray Davis
- LB Joe Andreessen
- OLB Bradley Chubb
Game Designations
Plenty of mystery for a team coming off a bye week, as six players carry a questionable designation into this game, including Moore and Kincaid. Didn’t see that coming.

Here’s a look at the Ravens final injury report before they make the trip to Orchard Park:
Game Designations:
- All the talk this week justifiably centered around Lamar Jackson after his three-game absence with an ankle injury. He’s going to play against the Bills, as he carries no designation on Friday after a full week of practice.
- There was also plenty of curiosity surrounding rookie guard Vega Ioane, who sprained his MCL in Week 7’s game against the Bengals, after he practiced in a limited capacity on Thursday and Friday. But he’s been listed as out for this game against the Bills.
- Despite early-week speculation about injuries for Kyle Hamilton and Roquan Smith, both will play in Orchard Park on Sunday. They carry no injury designation.
- The only other impactful injury for the Ravens right now is third safety Jaylinn Hawkins, who has been declared as out for this contest with a knee injury. He’s played 71.5% of Baltimore’s defensive snaps this season.
