Jon Moxley has a broken heart, and the only remedy is to bury Darby Allin.
The Death Riders captain finally decided to handle the Allin problem with his own hands. During AEW Collision (Sep. 6, 2025), Moxley explained that it broke his heart to put Allin in the hospital. He would have much rather had Allin fighting by his side. Moxley hoped that climbing Mount Everest would give Allin clarity to understand the Death Riders’ vision. Unfortunately, Allin is simple minded. No matter how many times Allin runs
into the wall, it won’t solve the problem. Since Allin isn’t going away, Moxley will show that he is a master of this craft by putting him in the ground at All Out.
That promo wasn’t just poetic imagery. Putting Allin in the ground can only mean one thing. AEW booked Moxley versus Allin in a Coffin Match for the PPV on September 20.
Allin’s record is 4-1 for Coffin Matches in AEW. He started with an undefeated streak over Ethan Page, Andrade, Brody King, then teaming with Sting to beat Swerve Strickland & Christian Cage. Allin’s loss came at the hands of Jack Perry for the TNT Championship.
