Cornell transfer Jake Fiegen plans to take a visit to Villanova.
Fiegen narrowed his list down to four schools — Villanova, Northwestern, Virginia, and Vanderbilt. He visited Northwestern on Monday and the visit reportedly went well. According to Louie Vaccher of On3, the 6-foot-4 guard plans to visit Villanova before making his final decision.
Despite leaving the visit without a commitment, Northwestern feels like the frontrunner for Fiegen. Virginia has also built a strong foundation for the senior.
Fiegen has been an elite shooter over the course of his career. He averaged 17.1 points and 5.1 rebounds this past season while shooting 41.4% from three-point range. He also shot 54.6% from the field. Fiegen has played in 83 games for Cornell, making 45 starts, in three years.
Villanova received commitments from Kwame Evans Jr. and Devin Royal on Monday. Arkansas transfer guard DJ Wagner was also scheduled to visit campus on Tuesday.
