Hansi Flick has been handed a big boost ahead of the team’s final La Liga matches of the season as Raphinha, Marc Bernal and Andreas Christensen have trained with the first-team squad.
Raphinha is back after five weeks out after a hamstring injury, while Bernal is closing in on a return to match action after an ankle problem.
Christensen is also nearing full fitness after another long spell out. The Denmark international has been sidelined with a knee ligament injury but was back with the group again
on Wednesday.
The hope is that Bernal and Raphinha will be passed fit and be available to play against Osasuna on Saturday night, although they are more likely to have minutes against Real Madrid in El Clasico.
Meanwhile, Christensen will be hoping he can enjoy some first-team minutes before the end of the season. The defender’s last appearance came back in December, and he’s facing an uncertain future as his contract is set to expire shortly.
