Jessica Eye just saw another win disappear.
The longtime UFC veteran and recent bare-knuckle boxer has had her June 2025 BKFC decision victory over Mariya Agapova overturned to a no-contest due to a failed drug test, according to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. MMA Fighting’s Damon Martin confirmed the news following an initial report from MMA Junkie.
The TDLR did not announce what drug triggered the positive test.
Eye’s win, which took place at BKFC 76 in Fort Worth, Texas, was her
first combat sports win of any kind since defeating Viviane Araujo at UFC 245 in December 2019. After that, Eye lost her next four UFC fights, parting ways with the promotion in 2022, and also suffered a pair of losses competing in grappling matches for Submission Underground.
The 39-year-old Ohio native came out of retirement to fight Agapova at BKFC 76 and went on to win a five-round unanimous decision. However, that win will no longer be counted on her pro fighting record.
It’s another tough blow for Eye, a notable name in the rise of women’s MMA. Despite an up-and-down UFC career, she once competed for the promotion’s flyweight title, losing by second-round knockout to Valentina Shevchenko at UFC 238.
