Jamal Musiala has taken another step forward in his recovery, with the Bayern Munich star resuming individual training as he works his way back from a torn muscle fiber in his right thigh.
According to Kicker journalist Manuel Krischel (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Musiala is back on the training pitch as he continues his rehabilitation. The injury was sustained while on international duty, and the midfielder is now working toward a return to team training.
There is still no exact timetable for Musiala’s
comeback, however. Bayern will presumably be cautious with the 23-year-old rather than risk rushing him back before he is fully ready.
Musiala’s return would provide a major boost for Vincent Kompany and Bayern, particularly with the club entering another busy stretch of the season. For now, though, the focus is simply on getting the Germany international through his recovery without any setbacks.
Bayern Munich’s training group takes shape
Bayern Munich also held its second team training session of the week at Säbener Straße, although the squad remains incomplete following the international break, per @iMiaSanMia.
Among those taking part were Jonathan Tah, Nathaniel Brown, Joshua Kimmich, Manuel Neuer, Sven Ulreich, Sacha Boey, Luis Díaz, and Alphonso Davies, along with several players from the youth setup.
The remaining international players will return to the team gradually over the next few days as Bayern prepares to resume its regular schedule.
For Musiala, the individual work represents an encouraging development. There is still no definitive return date, but getting back on the training pitch is another important step toward seeing Bayern’s No. 10 back in competitive action.
