Roman Reigns is set to fight Bronson Reed this Saturday (Oct. 11) at WWE Crown Jewel in Perth, Australia. They’ll do battle in an Australian street fight.
So, what exactly is the difference between a regular WWE street fight and an Australian street fight? The Australian-born Reed tried to answer that question in an interview with The West Sport.
“Well I think, you know, Roman Reigns has got another thing coming. Maybe I’ll hit him for six with the old Cricket bat. The Australian street fight, I think the difference
is we do it a little bit harder down here. Even with our sports, we don’t wear protective gear, or anything like that, so Roman has to be ready to take it up that next notch compared to a normal street fight.”
Reed laughed and said “yeah” when asked if he might attack Roman with a boomerang or kangaroo warning sign during the fight. But it seems like the cricket bat is his preferred Australian weapon of choice.
“One hundred percent. I think I might even have one in my hotel at the moment…As long as he doesn’t get it in his hands. That’s always the risk with bringing weapons into the match.”
What kind of weapons do you think we’ll see Roman and Bronson smack each other over the head with in the Australian street fight at WWE Crown Jewel? Let me know in the comments below, Cagesiders.
