Rutgers wide receiver KJ Duff and Antwan Raymond put the world on notice last season by having breakout years, where both compiled over 1,000 yards in their respective categories. Their athletic prowess is now being recognized for the upcoming season, as they were both named preseason All-Americans by Phil Steele.
Last season, Duff was named an honorable mention All-American by Phil Steele after having a season where he recorded 60 catches for 1,084 yards and 7 touchdowns. He was also named second
team all-Big Ten for his efforts. Raymond, on the other hand, finished the season with 1,244 rushing yards and 13 touchdowns on 244 carries. He was named a Doak Walker Award semifinalist and a fourth-team All-American selection by Steele.
Both Duff and Raymond were named fourth-team All-Americans.
Steele also made an all-Big Ten list, where two other Scarlet Knights had their names called in addition to Duff and Raymond. Raymond was named a preseason all-Big Ten first team selection by Steele, while Duff was named a second team all-Big Ten selection. Joining those two were transfer linebacker Ty Morris, who was named to the all-Big Ten third team list, and Kobe Asamoah, who was named to the fourth team offensive line. Asamoah started all 12 games for the Knights in 2025 and was named a second-team all-American by ESPN for his performance. Morris recorded 88 tackles with 9.5 for loss, three pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and a fumble recovery last season at Rice, which earned him fourth team all-conference by Steele and honorable mention all-conference by the coaches in 2025.
