Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Seahawks fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.
The Seattle Seahawks will have a new starting running back in 2026. Kenneth Walker III is now with the Kansas City Chiefs, having cashed in on his strong close to the season by winning Super Bowl MVP. With Zach Charbonnet currently on the mend following ACL surgery, the position
is up in the air.
For this week’s Reacts survey, we’re asking the obvious question of who the Seahawks’ Week 1 starter will be when they raise their Super Bowl banner on opening night. I’m not going to name any names because that’s too exhaustive and unrealistic. Instead, you have four options:
- A free agent signing. Doesn’t matter if it’s Rachaad White, Keaton Mitchell, or some random fella off the street.
- A rookie draft pick. I will accept a UDFA rookie even though the poll doesn’t explicitly state as such, but why on Earth are you projecting undrafted free agent running backs in March?
- A player acquired via trade. De’Von Achane, anyone? Maybe, maybe not. But perhaps the Seahawks consider trading for a running back with one of their four (count ‘em, four!) draft picks.
- Someone currently on Seattle’s roster. That means Charbonnet, Cam Akers, Velus Jones Jr, George Holani, Kenny McIntosh, or Jacardia Wright.
That’s the only question this week! Have a go in the survey below:
Check back in by Saturday for the results!
