A mystery opponent is in the mix for TNA Bound For Glory. Everyone loves the surprise of a mystery opponent. This one should be a pretty big name, because he will be wrestling the Face of the Franchise.
Moose issued an open challenge at Bound For Glory. He offered a one-on-one opportunity. Moose said it doesn’t matter where his opponent comes from or which championship that person holds.
Let the guesses flow. Notable free agents include Tommy End (aka Aleister/Malakai Black), Romeo Malverde, (aka Santos Escobar), Erick Rowan, Braun Strowman, and the list goes on. Heck, don’t forget about TNA’s relationship with WWE and NXT. Perhaps an interesting superstar will arrive from the sports entertainment titan.

Other happenings from Impact (Oct. 8, 2026) that relate to Bound For Glory include this great promo scene from Mustafa Ali’s Order 4. Battle lines are drawn for every member for themself in the four-way International Championship bout. In my view, Tasha Steelz stole the scene with her Boricua Badass attitude.
Xia Brookside and Indi Hartwell hyped the Knockouts Championship match. Hartwell planted seeds for a happy scene at BFG if she can with the gold. It will be a childhood dream come true turning a toy title into the real thing.
Allie and Kiera Hogan are fighting tag team champions, and they didn’t back down from Zoey Serrano. Allie told Serrano to find a partner and meet them for a title bout at Bound For Glory. That partner was revealed to be Shayna Baszler.
The #1 and #20 spots in the Call Your Shot Gauntlet were determined in an 8-man tag team match. The winner gets the final entry, and the man who is pinned enters first. AJ Francis had victory in his grasp, but Joe Alonzo made a blind tag. Francis speared Trey Miguel, Elijah pulled Francis out of the ring, and Alonzo swooped in to take the glory from Francis’ hard work. Alonzo pinned Miguel.
