Haitian midfielder Dayana Pierre-Louis has signed through 2028 with the Utah Royals, the club announced today. Pierre-Louis comes from the French Ligue 1 RC Lens and her joining the club is pending upon her P-1 work visa and International Transfer Certificate.
During the time she spent with RC Lens, Pierre-Louis helped the team to get the promotion after 10 years from the Seconde Ligue to Ligue 1 by finishing
second in the 2024/25 season.
At a club level, the Haitian international recorded 10 starts in Ligue 1 with Lens, while at the international stage, the midfielder earned her first senior cap with Haiti in June 2022 against Costa Rica. After that, she helped her nation to qualify for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup for the first time.
According to the Royals’ website, the midfielder boasts over 70% passing completion and has created multiple goal-scoring opportunities as a result of that. She’s dynamic, creative, and is known for her stamina, strength, and passing ability.
