It’s arguably our biggest game of the season, at least until Sunday, as Barcelona stroll into town tonight for a massive Champions League “league phase” showdown. Games between these two are always memorable
and often iconic, and we haven’t had one for over seven years.
After rotating opportunistically over the weekend, Enzo Maresca should have every option available to him, except of course Cole Palmer and his bum toe (unless Enzo’s pulling a fast one with Palmer back in training yesterday).
In any case, it will be best available tonight, and for the WAGNH Community, that includes a certain Estêvão, ahead of Liam Delap. Given Delap’s lack of impact so far this season, that’s not surprising.
Otherwise, it’s all the expected choices in all the expected places. Maresca may make more changes than just about any managers, but this is about as first-choice as it gets (without Palmer or Levi Colwill).
