As expected, Jonathan Asp Jensen has left Bayern Munich in favor of Deportivo La Coruña.
The move gained momentum last week and was formally announced by the Spanish club
:RC Deportivo has signed Jonathan Asp Jensen (Gauerslund, Denmark, January 14, 2006), who becomes the club’s newest blue-and-white player after signing with the team through June 2031. The young attacking midfielder arrives from Bayern Munich, one of European soccer’s leading clubs, where he completed his youth development and made
his first-team debut in the Bundesliga. His debut in Germany’s top flight came on May 12, 2024, in a match against VfL Wolfsburg.
Asp Jensen appears to have a bright future ahead of him, but Bayern Munich had no room on the first team roster for him. Once it was revealed that Arijon Ibrahimović would be a part of Bayern Munich’s first team this season, the odds that Asp Jensen was going to be retained were essentially taken off the board.
The Dane will embark on a new quest and hopefully will get a chance to prove himself further at the first team level.
