There needs to be change with the Phillies. This is something we have written about already and will likely continue writing about this offseason as the need for that change has really never been more urgent. The 2027 version of the Phillies cannot bear the same resemblance of what we just saw go down in flames in the Wild Card round. But what will happen?
What will be the most dramatic, yet realistic, change that the team will be making this offseason?
It is highly unlikely that moving someone like Bryce
Harper or Kyle Schwarber is going to happen as some have suggested. Moving one of their top starting pitchers is something that might cause a fight in the organization. The rest of their roster is so inflexible, it makes thinking of something difficult, yet not impossible. My prediction: the most dramatic change will be a position change for Trea Turner that he publicly grouses about.
