What is the story about?
The Pete Carroll era with the Las Vegas Raiders is off a strong start as they are 1-0 after a 20-13 victory at the New England Patriots on Sunday.
The betting markets are taking notice and Carroll is now among the betting favorites to win the NFL Coach of the Year after this season.
According to our friends at Fanduel Sportsbook, Carroll is priced at 12-1 to win the award. It is tied for the fourth lowest (best) odds in the league. Jacksonville Jaguars’ coach Liam Coen (+750) is the current favorite
to win the award.
It’s clear the Raiders are going to be improved under Carroll this season and this is a pretty good price. If betting is your thing, these odds are tempting.
