The Jacksonville Jaguars (4-1) will face the Seattle Seahawks (3-2) at 1:00 p.m. EST on Sunday, Oct. 12, at EverBank Stadium.
According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Jaguars are 1.5-point favorites and the total
is set at 46.5 points.
Jacksonville is fresh off a dramatic primetime win over Kansas City. “It wasn’t perfect by any means,” coach Liam Coen said postgame, “but the resiliency is really what I think this team has and has continued to show. There was really no flinch or blink when you’re down 14-0 … I thought all three phases really impacted the game. A ton of stuff to correct, but the toughness and resiliency is really something I’m proud of.”
“Huge win for us, especially with the one-score game thing. That team has historically won the majority of their one-score games. Something that obviously was a struggle for this team last year, and proud of the guys.”
The Jags are 4-1 for just the first time since 2007. Meanwhile, the Hawks are off to a 3-2 start and rank fourth in the NFL in point differential (+41) behind impressive play from Sam Darnold and perhaps the league’s best defense. Coen has yet another big test in front of him.
