The Knockouts Television Championship tournament is down to the final two. It has been an interesting journey with favorites biting the dust. When the smoke is clear, TNA will make a new star as the inaugural titleholder.
The second semifinal match aired Thursday night on Impact (Aug. 20, 2026). Bad news for fans of the Elegance Brand. It won’t be an all Elegance final. Jada Stone defeated Heather by Elegance in a crackerjack of a contest.
Finesse turned physical when Heather hit a German suplex on
the apron. Stone still had her wits to catch Heather for a rana off the apron.
The referee began a ten-count. Stone returned to the ring at the count of 8, while Heather wasn’t far behind at 9. That second difference was the difference-maker. Stone was in motion for a handspring stunner to earn the win over Heather.
Stone advances to face M by Elegance in the tournament final. Stone’s road includes wins over Alisha Edwards, Jody Threat, and Heather. M’s path includes wins over Rosemary and Indi Hartwell. M had a bye in between those victories due to the time-limit draw between Elayna Black and Wendy Choo. No date has been announced yet for the TV title bout. Since the concept for the championship is to only be defended on TV, logic would suggest the live episode of Impact next week (Aug. 27).
It’s interesting to see how TNA is using the TV title to create a new star. When the bracket was released, not many fans anticipated this to be the final, which is a statement to the surprise factor. No matter who wins, Stone or M will go down in the record books as the first champion.
