Name: Landan Resendes Position: Forward Year: Freshman Number: 14 Height: 5’10” Hometown: Marlborough, MA Last Season: Landan split time between two different teams in the USHL in the 2024-25 season, playing nine games with the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders and another 52 with the Youngstown Phantoms. Overall, Resendes combined for 16 goals and 19 assists with the two teams, good for 35 points as a whole. He played a physical game that caught the attention of the referees as well, picking up 94 penalty
minutes on the season. Season Outlook: There’s some room at the bottom of the forward group where Landan might be able to break into the lineup, but it’s hard to see him climbing much higher than that as a freshman. He doesn’t have some of the pedigree that some of BC’s recent freshman have had, or even really of some of the other forwards in his own class. Still, he reportedly always plays with a high motor and has a physical side to his game despite being a bit smaller in stature. That’s the kind of style that can help someone like him stick in the lineup if and when he does get a look. Resendes looks like the kind of player that can have a nice career at BC even if it doesn’t start of in the most glamourous of fashions. Fun Fact: Resendes finished third on Youngstown in penalty minutes last season despite starting the year on a different team
