What is the story about?
AEW stuck around in Las Vegas on Wednesday night (Aug. 12) after its live Dynamite broadcast/stream to film more of the build for its return to London’s Wembley Stadium on Aug. 30. We’ll be able to see what they filmed at Collision’s usual time on Saturday night, but the folks in attendance at the Pearl Theater at Palms Casino Resort shared what they saw in advance.
That included an array of matches, including the final three Continental Cup first round clashes, and Owen Cup winner Mercedes Moné in action!

- AEW Trios champs The Good, The Bad & The Ugly (Bandido, Hangman Page, and Brody King) def. The Lethal Swirl (Jay Lethal, Blake Christian & Lee Johnson). Post-match, The Demand joined Lethal Swirl for a 6-on-3 beatdown.
- AEW Women’s Tag Team champions The Divine Dominion (Megan Bayne and Lena Kross) def. Mazzerati and Rachelle Riveter. All In challengers The Brawling Birds (Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor) attacked the champs post-match.
- Kyle O’Reilly def. Roderick Strong to advance in the Continental Challenge Cup tournament
- Nigel McGuinness def. Katsuyori Shibata via pinfall to advance in the Continental Challenge Cup tournament
- Hechicero def. Brian Cage
- Lio Rush and The Rascalz (Myron Reed, Trey Miguel, and Zachary Wentz) defeated Jeaux Braxton, Ice Williams, Frescomatic, and Watson
- The Hurt Syndicate (Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley) and STP’s Shane Taylor and Lee Moriarty def. Sonico, Willie Montana, RO Montana, and Jake Redondo
- Mercedes Moné def. Zayda Steele. Christopher Daniels tried to intervene in Moné’s continued attack on Steel and got attacked himself. AEW Women’s World champ Willow Nightingale ran in to chase the #1 contender off.
