Real Madrid midfielder Eduardo Camavinga played the entire match in France’s 1-0 win over Belgium in the UEFA Nations League on Monday night.
In the second match of France’s four during the extended international break, Camavinga was the only Real Madrid player to still remain in the squad after injuries to Ibrahima Konate and Kylian Mbappe sent the two back to Madrid.
Camavinga played alongside Lucas Da Cunha in the midfield, just behind Akliouche. The Frenchman completed 62 out of his 66 passes on the night,
and created three chances for his teammates in an impressive, solid display.
He also had one tackle, one block, two clearances, one interception, five recoveries and won six of his 11 duels. Camavinga also completed three of his four long-range passes.
Zinedine Zidane must have liked what he saw from the midfield duo, as they worked quite well together.
Camavinga would hope to start yet again in France’s next match: a contest against Italy at home.
