The first match advertised for Dynamite’s special tribute to PAC was AEW World Champion Will Ospreay vs. Ricochet in a non-title match. What better way to honor PAC’s excellence than with Ospreay and Ricochet going out there and having an incredible match?
They paid tribute to PAC with snap German suplexes and poisonranas galore.
The two stars delivered as expected,
with Ricochet making these shooting star presses look effortless.
Ospreay appeared to have the match in hand after he hit the Hidden Blade on Ricochet. But that wasn’t going to cut it for the finish of this match. No, Ospreay had to climb up to the top rope and unleash his own version of The Bastard’s Black Arrow finishing move. He pulled off a great one and got the three count.
Ospreay and Ricochet shared an emotional embrace after the match was over, with the Gates of Agony and United Empire members also standing in the ring.
What did you think of Ospreay’s Black Arrow in honor of PAC? Let me know in the comments below, Cagesiders.
