Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently announced the upcoming UFC Belgrade mixed martial arts (MMA) event for Sat., Aug. 1, 2026 at Belgrade Arena in Serbia. The Paramount+ fight card (see it here) will be headlined by the welterweight showdown pitting Uros Medic against Daniel Rodriguez (more on that here).
Now they have an official poster.

Medic (13-3) is the winner
of three straight, all by way of first-round knockout. That includes his destruction of Geoff Neal at UFC Houston just a few months back, one that earned “The Doctor” a $100,000 performance bonus — and a spot in the UFC welterweight rankings.
As for Rodriguez (20-5), he’s also on a three-fight win streak but hasn’t competed since a slippery July 2025 victory over Kevin Holland. That’s because “D-Rod” recently spent several months in a Mexican prison, which he attributes to crossing the border with a joint in his vehicle.
