Bayern Munich is a well-oiled machine, and Vincent Kompany demands only the best from his players for the team to achieve its desired results. While Kompany is known for moments like his outburst while coach of Burnley, it’s not the whole picture. Bayern starlet Lennart Karl knows it.
“The coach talks to me a lot in the background or shows things to me in video analysis together with the team. I get just as much feedback from the players – and sometimes a few jokes, too,” Karl revealed (as captured

It can also be said that the Belgian coach does this with the rest of the players (save perhaps Sacha Boey).
It’s great Kompany can balance his man-management with the strict implementation of his tactics; it’s a skill that only a handful execute successfully. Bayern had Julian Nagelsmann who became too cool with the team that he forgot to sort his tactics out, while Thomas Tuchel had a set of tactics but was about as warm as a block of ice when it came to the team. Kompany is truly a blessing for Bayern.
