Each practice day of the season, the Kansas City Chiefs release an official injury report leading up to the next game. In the NFL’s Week 1, the Chiefs will host the Denver Broncos for “Monday Night Football” at Arrowhead Stadium.

Chiefs
The following players did not practice on Thursday or Friday:
- Left tackle Josh Simmons (Back)
- Defensive back Chamarri Conner (Knee)
Defensive tackle Chris Jones (Calf) was added to the Friday injury report as a limited participant
after full participation in Thursday’s practice. Jones spoke to reporters before practice.
The following players were full participants in Thursday and Friday’s practice:
- Linebacker Jack Cochrane (Knee)
- Defensive end Ashton Gillotte (Foot)
- Wide receiver Rashee Rice (Knee)
- Right guard Trey Smith (Hip)
- Cornerback L’Jarius Sneed (Cornerback)
- Defensive end R Mason Thomas (Hamstring)
- Wide receiver Xavier Worthy (Shoulder)
- Quarterback Patrick Mahomes (Knee)
Broncos
Wide receiver Marvin Mims (Foot) was the only player to appear on Denver’s injury report Thursday; he was a full participant in practice.
