Here is a look at how the Las Vegas Raiders’ 2024 draft class fared in a 26-14 win at the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 2 and what to look for Sunday at the New Orleans Saints:
Brock Bowers:
The No. 13 overall pick in the draft missed the first two games of the season because of a knee surgery. Barring a setback, Bowers is expected to make his season debut at New Orleans. Expect Bowers to be a big part of the game plan as he plays with Kirk Cousins for the first time in the regular season.
Jackson Powers-Johnson:
The second-round pick played the entire game. It wasn’t as strong as Week 1. Powers-Johnson gave up a sack against the Chargers and the Raiders’ offensive line struggled against the run as a unit.
D.J. Glaze:
The third-round pick started at right tackle and played the entire game for the second straight week.
Tommy Eichenberg:
The fifth-round pick from Ohio State played 35 percent of the snaps on defense and 85 percent on special teams in Week 2. It was a big defensive increase in workload after he logged eight defensive snaps in Week 1. His 24 snaps on defense was the second most in his career. The Raiders used a lot more base defense than usual because the Chargers run often. So, we will see if Eichenberg plays more against run-oriented offenses.
Dylan Laube:
The sixth-round pick played 8 snaps on offense and 85 percent on special teams. He had two kick returns for 35 yards after having two returns for 95 yards in Week 1.
