The Carolina Panthers are coming off of their Week 5 bye to face a Philadelphia Eagles squad that is somehow more injured than they are. Factor in their short rest returning from an international game in London and the Panthers seem primed for a big day.
Of course, nothing screams “It’s a trap!” to Panthers fans like lofty expectations, but this new look Bryce Young and the current coaching combination of Dave Canales and Brad Idzik are looking to convince us that it’s a new day in Charlotte. Or in Philadelphia
this week. It is technically possible that years of giving up career performances to back up quarterbacks and running backs may not have any bearing on the results of this afternoon’s game.
I’ll believe it when I see it.
