According to a report from Bild (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich veteran Raphaël Guerreiro is in doubt for this weekend match vs. Borussia Dortmund in Der Klassiker:
Raphaël Guerreiro did not train with the team this week and was only able to work individually indoors last week. He was back on the pitch this morning but only individually. Guerreiro repeatedly pointed to his right thigh and often stretched the muscles there. He’s a major doubt for Saturday’s game against Dortmund.
Stanišić likely out, too
According
to Bild (via @iMiaSanMia), Josip Stanišić has not returned to team training and is probably not available to face Borussia Dortmund this weekend:
Josip Stanišić has yet to resume team training and only worked individually on the pitch today. He’s unlikely to be available in time against Dortmund.
Davies on the mend and making progress
Per Bild (via @iMiaSanMia), Alphonso Davies is making “big progress” and a return to working out with the squad is “imminent” for the Canadian:
Alphonso Davies is making big progress in his rehab. A return in team training is now imminent.
That sounds like great news for the Bavarians, but this could be a slow integration for Davies, who has to regain physical and mental confidence in his repaired knee. When he does come back, though, look out…he could be a dynamic presence in this already terrific attack.
