Trick Williams’ days as TNA world champion appear to be numbered. That number seems likely to end at Bound For Glory on October 12 when Trick Willy is forced to defend the title against Mike Santana.
Santino Marella made the match official during Impact (Sep. 4, 2025). It will one-on-one between Williams and Santana.
The challenger arrived
on the scene with confidence to bring the TNA World Championship back home. After last week’s shenanigans, Williams is refusing to appear in TNA until it’s time to defend the gold. Santana threatened that if Williams won’t come to TNA, then he will go to NXT.
Meanwhile, Williams was lounging at home, possibly nude wearing the TNA world title to cover himself. Trick Willy was in no mood to be bothered with this news. He already broke TNA attendance records, giving TV deals, and having great matches. What more do people want from him?

- One Last Time: Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy vs. Bully Ray & D-Von
- Knockouts Championship: Ash by Elegance (c) (or Masha Slamovich) vs. Indi Hartwell
