Liam Delap had one of his better performances in Chelsea Blue on Sunday, making a real nuisance of himself against Manchester City’s defenders, and getting under the skin of Rúben Dias especially. Delap clearly
enjoys a bit of argy-bargy, though so far that’s mostly been to our detriment. Last time out, it helped us get the draw. So maybe today it could get us the win?
The WAGNH Community certainly believe so, preferring him to start over João Pedro by quite a margin (68-36). This may be the most favor Delap’s ever curried with the crowd. Are we not entertained?
The rest of the lineup is mostly the usual bunch, with the four players returning from suspensions and injuries, Moisés Caicedo, Robert Sánchez, Marc Cucurella, and Wesley Fofana all taking their places. The one interesting wrinkle is that Andrey Santos (45%) does beat out a slumping Pedro Neto (43%), so it’s Enzo who joins the attacking band as he did at the Etihad.
4-2-3-1 (72%)
Sánchez (90%) | Cucurella (89%), Chalobah (92%), Fofana (85%), James (76%) | Santos (45%), Caicedo (96%) | Estêvão (70%), Enzo (88%), Palmer (94%) | Delap (68%)
