The Michigan Wolverines will be back on the road next week when they head to the West Coast to take on Oregon. Many thought this game would be a primetime game, considering the time change, but Michigan fans in the Eastern Time Zone won’t have to wait until the evening for a second straight week to watch the Wolverines.
As announced by the Big Ten on Monday afternoon, Michigan’s game at Oregon next weekend will will kickoff at 3:30 p.m. and be aired on FS1.
Oregon is in the midst of a stinker of a season for head coach Dan Lanning’s standards. The Ducks are coming off a big win over Northwestern this past weekend, but they had lost two of their last three games heading into that one. They are 5-3 overall and will be without star quarterback Dante Moore the rest of the season following a nasty hit he endured to the head in their win over USC in late September.
Michigan is 3-3 in the all-time series against Oregon, with the Ducks having won the last three games. The last time Michigan beat Oregon was in 1973, a 24-0 shutout victory for the Wolverines in Ann Arbor. This game will only be the second time the Wolverines have ever played at Oregon, with the last one being a 31-27 win for the Ducks back in 2003.
