Good morning, BBN, it’s gameday!
Kentucky heads to Columbia on Saturday night for a key SEC East matchup against South Carolina. The kickoff is set for 7:45 p.m. ET at Williams-Brice Stadium, with coverage available on the SEC Network and streaming on WatchESPN.
FanDuel lists South Carolina as a 5.5-point favorite, while the over/under sits around 46.5. Some sportsbooks have the line stretching to 6.5.
For Kentucky, the focus will be on redshirt freshman Cutter Boley, who is expected to start, with
Zach Calzada’s status still uncertain. The Wildcats will also lean heavily on running backs Seth McGowan and Dante Dowdell, both capable of big plays.
The Cats are coming off a bye, so there should be no excuse for starting slow.
South Carolina’s QB LaNorris Sellers hasn’t gotten off to the best start, but he’s certainly capable of dominating a game. The Gamecocks have a few injuries on the O-Line that could give Kentucky some big opportunities to disrupt the game.
What do you think, will Kentucky snap its slide against the Gamecocks and get its first road win of the season?
