PSG looking to tie up Barcola as Bayern, LFC circle (ESPN)
Both Bayern Munich and Liverpool have been circling around Paris Saint-Germain attacker Bradley Barcola all summer, but PSG has no intention of letting the 23-year-old walk away any time soon. The French powerhouse is looking to wrap up Barcola with a long-term deal:
Paris Saint-Germain are planning to offer winger Bradley Barcola a new contract ahead of the January transfer window, according to Le Parisien. The 23-year-old was linked with both Liverpool and Bayern Munich in the summer, and PSG are keen
to ward off any potential approaches once the window reopens. The Parc des Princes hierarchy are expected to propose a two-year extension for Barcola that would secure his future until the summer of 2030.
Bayern Munich’s wing situation is already settled for the few years and there could potentially be much bigger fish to fry next summer for the Bavarians (striker, center-back, goalkeeper) than worrying about another wing player.
Real to make move for Stiller? (ESPN)
Former Bayern Munich prospect and current VfB Stuttgart midfielder Angelo Stiller is reportedly being looked at by Real Madrid:
Real Madrid are interested in VfB Stuttgart midfielder Angelo Stiller, says Diario Sport. Xabi Alonso is keen on the 24-year-old, and he is continuing to monitor his situation ahead of a potential approach next summer. The LaLiga club could face competition from Bayern, amid belief that Stuttgart would be willing to accept an offer worth in the region of €45 million. Meanwhile, Fabrizio Romano reports that Los Blancos are lining up a move to bring midfielder Nico Paz back from Como, but may pay the Serie A side more than the €10m written in the deal which took the player to Italy.
Stiller has not impressed so far this season for club or country. While that is not necessarily damning for his career, the Germany international might want to refocus things and get back to the task at hand.

Barca not sending Rashford back to United (ESPN)
FC Barcelona is not plotting a return trip for Marcus Rashford to Manchester United just yet:
There are no plans by Barcelona to send on-loan winger Marcus Rashford back to Manchester United in January despite reports, according to The Sun. The Blaugrana and manager Hansi Flick are “still giving their full support” to the 27-year-old, who has played 95 minutes across three LaLiga matches. An option clause in the loan deal agreed with the Red Devils would allow him to be signed for a fee of £30 million.

Müller talks relationship with Gerland (Säbener51 via @iMiaSanMia)
Bayern Munich legend Thomas Müller and former Bayern Munich assistant coach Hermann “Tiger” Gerland had a special relationship.
“The ‘Tiger’ and I have developed a relationship that goes far beyond football. We know and appreciate each other. I’ve been thinking a lot about gratitude lately. Of course, there are many coaches and people I have to thank. Hermann Gerland, for example. Or Louis van Gaal – I’m glad I had the pleasure of playing and training under him. But it’s fair to say that there were also good reasons why I played a lot under him: He tried out different configurations back then – and it worked best with me,” Müller said.
Pulisic to re-up with Milan? (ESPN)
Christian Pulisic could be on the verge of a contract extension with AC Milan:

The Serie A club are also aware of interest from other clubs. Pulisic turned down a move to Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr in the summer.
Bavarian Podcast Works — Postgame Show: Germany 3-1 Northern Ireland (Bavarian Football Works)
Wow…Germany was on the ropes vs. Northern Ireland, but a strong second half effort helped Julian Nagelsmann’s team pull away for a 3-1 victory.
It was ugly at times and desperate at others, but this was somehow a must win match for a squad that was absolutely reeling after getting stomped out by Slovakia earlier in the week. The Germans absolutely needed this victory and it could have been disastrous had things not turned around in the latter stages of the game.
Let’s get into it. This is what we have on tap for this edition of the Bavarian Podcast Works — Postgame Show:
- A look at the starting XI.
- A rundown of the scoring and substitutions.
- Some final thoughts and takeaways on the match.
