Winners of two straight games, the New England Patriots will be looking to add a third victory to their current streak to improve to 4-2 on the season. Standing between them is a division foe, a New York Jets team coming off a victory in Week 5 itself.
According to FanDuel Sportsbook, the Patriots are seen as 7.5-point favorites at home. Will they prove the oddsmakers right? Or will the Jets manage to pull off a big upset at Gillette Stadium? Let’s find out what Pats Pulpit’s staff and community think.
Patriots vs. Jets score predictions
Bernd Buchmasser: Much like the Patriots earlier in the year, the Jets are still finding themselves offensively. The problem for them is that doing so against a New England defense that should get Christian Gonzalez back will be a tall task — too tall a task. With New York’s offense not exactly threatening and Drake Maye and company having started to find their groove, this has the makings of a “rest the starters in the fourth quarter to get them ready for Thursday”-type of game. | Patriots 31, Jets 13

Matt St. Jean: The Patriots dominated the Jets twice last season, and with some reinforcements on their way I expect Mike Vrabel’s squad to pick up where they left off last December. This Jets group is clearly improved from last year’s version, but not at the level to make this game competitive. | Patriots 38, Jets 13
Dylan Klayman: The Jets have looked like they are on an upwards trajectory from the abysmal state that they were in last season. Coming off a win against the Browns, who are having a resurgence of their own, the Jets have a talented defense with a very high blitz rate. However, with Drake Maye and the Patriots’ offense looking like they are back to their 2025 form over the past two games, and their defense playing at such a high level, they should defeat this Jets team comfortably. | Patriots 31, Jets 10
Pat Lane: The Jets are better than they were, but they still stink. The Patriots seem to have righted the ship, and now are getting some players back too. This shouldn’t be close. I know the Jets defense is aggressive, but Josh McDaniels should be able to use that against them. Garrett Wilson is one of the best receivers in the league against man coverage, but getting Christian Gonzalez back shouldn’t make that a problem. The Patriots roll and get ready for a quick turnaround with Thursday Night Football in Chicago on the horizon. | Patriots 34, Jets 14
Andrew Guindon: The Jets are better than they were last season; however, the Patriots should handily advance to 4-2. New York’s defensive line could create issues for New England offensively, but even though that unit already has 17 sacks on the year, they don’t generate pressure consistently. The Jets also don’t have the offense to match the Patriots, especially if a healthy Christian Gonzalez shadows Garrett Wilson. | Patriots 34, Jets 10
