Blood & Guts appeared to be set with the namesake matches for the men and the women. Hold the horses on that thought. AEW added more wrestlers to the women’s Blood & Guts.
Persephone lost the TBS Championship to Queen Aminata in a surprise upset on Dynamite. During Collision (Oct. 31, 2026), AEW aired reaction from the former champ. Perse wants revenge, and it will come in Blood & Guts.
AEW made it official. The women’s Blood & Guts match will be Willow Nightingale, Kris Statlander, Harley Cameron, Jamie Hayter, Alex Windsor and Queen Aminata versus Thekla, Julia Hart, Skye Blue, Megan Bayne, Lena Kross, and Persephone. Blood & Guts airs live on Wednesday, November 4.
The babyface crew reacted with Aminata now on the team, but not all is well. Wrathlander is still annoyed that the Brawling Birds are absent. There is also trust lacking due to Wrathlander challenging the Birds for the women’s tag titles at Full Gear. Nonetheless, Willow did her best to get everyone on the same page.
The villains appear to be a more cohesive bunch. They cut a team promo with Thekla closing in a play on the Blood & Guts tagline. One cage, two rings, three words. “Die bitches die.” I think that’s German for, “The bitches the.”
For what it’s worth, the Triangle of Madness and Divine Dominion put in work on Collision. Julia Hart spit black mist en route to the Triangle retaining the Artist of Stardom Championship over Hazuki, Koguma, & Fuwa-Chan.
Bayne and Kross obliterated Nixi XS and Leela Feist in an angry squash.
The men’s Blood & Guts remains unaltered. Will Ospreay leads Adam Copeland, Young Bucks, Darby Allin, and Steven Borden against the Callis Family’s Kyle Fletcher, Kazuchika Okada, Mark Davis, Jake Doyle, Kevin Knight, and Wardlow.
Do you like the addition of Queen Aminata and Persephone to Blood & Guts? Do you think that tilts the scales one way or the other to win?
