Breaking news: Juventus want to sign a striker this summer.
More breaking news: They have actually signed a striker last week.
Even more breaking news: That main striker they want to sign is Randal Kolo Muani.
Just as we saw last summer, just as we saw this past summer and now into this summer, Juventus want to make a reunion with the want-away Paris Saint-Germain Frenchman happen. The biggest speed bump in all of this? The fact that PSG, despite all of their riches and recent influx of money on top
of their even larger influx of money considering who owns the club, is not budging from what they want to sell Kolo Muani for. And considering Juventus are in the current financial situation they are in as a result of no Champions League football next season, it’s a negotiation process for new CEO Giovanni Carnevali that is delicate and complicated to say the least.
So, it’s only natural to ask: Is Kolo Muani worth all of this trouble?
So as Juve actually do sign a young striker in the form of Jeff Ekhator from Genoa, the chase for Kolo Muani continues to go on and on and on with an actual end in sight pretty much unknown as we sit exactly one week out from players reporting to Continassa for preseason training.
