It is not a secret — Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise is going get a lot of interest in the summer of 2026.
Liverpool, Manchester City, and Paris Saint-Germain have all been loosely linked to Olise, but Bayern Munich will not be eager to see the Frenchman skip town. In an attempt to prevent that from happening, Bayern Munich is expected to offer Olise a re-worked contract.
Even if that does not work out, Bayern Munich just might make Olise see out his contract anyway:
Bayern want to hand Michael Olise
an improved contract to reward his performances and convince him that his future is in Munich. Clubs like Manchester City and Liverpool are watching Olise, but the Frenchman is under contract at Bayern until 2029 and has no release clause, so it will be complicated for any club to get him out of Munich.
Bayern Munich has some power here, but it will be interesting to see how steadfast the Bavarians are if a club offers none figures for Olise.
That is a problem for another day, though. Until then, let’s just enjoy watching Olise playing a starring role in Bayern Munich’s electric attacking group.
Bayern Munich returned to action in the Bundesliga by hosting Hamburger SV and just crushed the visitors.
The Bavarians took home a 5-0 victory in a game that was never close. Bayern Munich was dominant from the outset and wasted little time in giving Hamburg a not so friendly welcome back to Germany’s top flight.
Let get into how it all played out! This is what we have on tap for this edition of the Bavarian Podcast Works — Postgame Show:
