What is the story about?
Welcome
to The Link Farm. This is your update on all things Texas A&M (that we didn’t already talk about in another article). And if there’s something we missed, be sure to talk about it in the comments.
- Volleyball’s early season struggles continue. Coming off a National Championship run last season, the Aggies have gotten off to a slow start in 2026 with a 3-4 record, including in the most recent match against Indiana. However, all four losses for Texas A&M have come against ranked opposition. Unfortunately for the Aggies, things don’t get easier as #4 Stanford and #5 Wisconsin are the next opponents on the schedule.
- Aggie Soccer looks to bounce back against SFA. Texas A&M is 3-3 so far in 2026, with their most recent game being a loss to #19 TCU. First-year head coach Bobby Shuttleworth and the Aggies will look to get back in the win column against Stephen F. Austin this Sunday. Texas A&M fans can catch the contest on SECN+ at 7:00 p.m. CT on September 6th.
- Texas A&M Cross Country kicks off the season. The Aggies get started this fall with the Aggie Opener at the Watts Cross Country Course. This season sees another change in Aggieland as longtime Track and Field Head Coach Pat Henry retired in the spring, and Leroy Burrell has replaced the coaching legend.
- Women’s Golf set to compete at Folds of Honor Collegiate. Texas A&M’s Women’s Golf team will head to Grand Haven, Michigan, and American Dunes GC for action next week. The Folds of Honor Collegiate runs from September 7th through September 9th.
