Hall of Famer Randy Moss has officially completed his cancer treatments
! He, as many people who complete cancer treatment do, got an opportunity to ring the bell at Atrium Health in Charlotte, North Carolina on Thursday upon completing his final appointment.Moss was diagnosed with bile duct cancer around Thanksgiving of 2023. He underwent surgery to
have part of the organ removed and then started undergoing chemotherapy.
After ringing the bell, Moss took a moment to thank those at the facility that helped him through his journey.
“I want to thank everybody at this hospital for welcoming me to be a part of their family,” Moss said. “Y’all do a great job of taking care of people. I thank you all. God bless you.”
Moss has stated that he will be returning to his job at ESPN’s NFL Countdown on a full-time basis this season after being forced to miss some time on set while dealing with the illness.
HUGE congratulations to Randy Moss on the completion of his cancer treatments! Here’s hoping that he’s well and truly in the clear from here on out.
