Looking to bounce back from a Week 1 loss, theLos Angeles Rams host the New York Giants on the Week 2 edition of Monday Night Football. The game kicks off on September 20 at 6:15 p.m. PDT from SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. While the Rams endeavor to find the win column, the Giants are riding highafter handing the Dallas Cowboys a 28-20 defeat in their opener.
This weekend’s Rams news is a mixed bag. Aaron Donald is reported to be ready for actionand expected to play. On the negative side
of the ledger, injury woes are already beginning to manifest themselves. Edge Myles Garrett was put on the Injured Reserve Listearlier this week, knee surgery will sideline him for a minimum of four games. L.A.‘s final injury report designates safety Kamren Kinchens (hamstring) as outfor the game, while the Rams wide receiver corps has the possibility of two holes. Puka Nacua (hip)has been deemed questionable and Jordan Whittington (quad) is doubtful.
The Rams and Giants have been facing off since 1938with L.A. holding a 30-17 overall advantage. Since Sean McVay took the Ram reins in 2017, he sports a spotless 4-0 record against the GMen. Last year, the two teams met and L.A. came away with a tight 26-25 win. While this will John Harbaugh’s first season in N.Y., he’s went head-to-head with McVay four times previous and the games have been split evenly.
