The Las Vegas Raiders are reportedly having a pre-draft visit with is Georgia wide receiver Zachariah Branch.
Let’s take a closer look at Branch:
Size:
5-9, 177 pounds.
2025 Stats:
Second team SEC selection. He had 81 catches for 1,111 yards and six touchdowns.
Career highlights:
He played at USC in 2023-24. He was named the nation’s top kick returner as a freshman and was a freshman All-American and first-team All-Pac-12 pick.
Raiders connections:
Branch is a Las Vegas native. He starred for high school
powerhouse Bishop Gorman. He is also the great nephew of Raiders’ legendary Hall of Fame wide receiver Cliff Branch. What a great story this would be if speedy Cliff’s kin become a speed wide receiver for the Raiders seven years after his death. Branch and Raiders’ owner Mark Davis were very close. Davis would likely love to see this happen.
How he’d fit in with Raiders:
The Raiders have a need for a young receiver and there would be a role for him in Klint Kubiak’s offense.
What’s his draft range?
Because of his great speed, Branch could sneak into the first round. Still, there is a solid chance he will be available to the Raiders in the second round when they pick at No. 36.
