Harry Kane was delighted to see Jamal Musiala enjoying himself again after Bayern Munich’s 5-0 Champions League victory over Bodø/Glimt.
Musiala has endured a difficult start to the season, making his return to action a gradual process as Bayern Munich have carefully managed his workload after suffering through two bouts with neurological absences. Against Bodø/Glimt, however, there were encouraging signs that the 23-year-old is beginning to find his rhythm again.
Kane was particularly pleased to see
the pressure beginning to lift from his teammate.
“I’m really happy for him. He had a tough time at the start of the season, so it’s good to see a smile on his face and the pressure lifted on him. You can see the hunger, he’s been very sharp in training and he took it to the game. He should be proud of himself,” Kane said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Those words carry plenty of weight coming from Kane, who has seen firsthand just how important Musiala can be to Bayern Munich. The German international possesses the ability to change games, and having him feeling confident and physically ready could be crucial as the season progresses.
For Bayern Munich, getting Musiala fully back into the fold could feel almost like adding another major weapon to an already dangerous attack.
