Bayern Munich, after a long and tiresome transfer saga, finally procured Nicolas Jackson’s signature for a loan. The striker is set to play in red and white this season, and will play alongside some world class players.
Jackson seems to be in agreement with the quality of Bayern, and what it’ll mean to play on the same pitch as them. In a recent interview with Tutto Sport, as captured by @iMiaSanMia, Jackson gave an insight on how he feels about it.
“The most important thing won’t be Harry and I, but
the whole team. It’s a huge honor. Kane is one of the best strikers in the world. I hope to learn from him, complement his game, and build a strong bond on the pitch. We are two strikers who complement each other very well on the pitch, and we will work hard to ensure the results live up to expectations. Playing with a striker of his caliber and all the others will definitely help me improve,” said Jackson when he was asked about sharing the pitch with Harry Kane, Bayern’s number 1 striker.
Fans will be satisfied to see that Jackson is already coming in with a team-playing mindset, and is prioritizing a well-oiled machine at Bayern, instead of being the first choice up front.
